Is there a gas station near peggy sue dinner?
Definitely takes you back with the most amazing gift shop and 50's style diner. Great experience and food.
MoreGreat place to make a family memory! The breakfast was great too!
Good food, great service, fantastic atmosphere. Loved looking at every thing and loved the dinosaur park out back
MoreCharming, nostalgic 50s diner. Whether you travel the yellow brick road or Route 66, this place has something to take you back to the good old days. The walls are covered with old Hollywood photos and collectibles. Food was great. We were taking a quick road trip so we shared everything to try. Great onion rings. Yummy Tuna melt. Had to try the Strawberry shake and were not sorry we did! And to finish it off, a piece of fresh lemon meringue piled high. Don't stop at a boring drive thru, stop in for a meal at Peggy Sue's! While you're waiting for your malted, see how good you are at the table trivia...
MoreWas so good. The place is so big. The servers were really sweet and she did a good job. Not to invasive and asked the right questions so we could enjoy our meal. It was great walking the gift shop. It's a treasure trove of nostalgic paraphernalia. Way cool and a great stop if your transiting to and from Vegas.
MoreEasy in and out great food friendly atmosphere love it they have semi parking will go back
MoreOrdered a pizza and when we came to pick it up, they said we couldn't pay with a card unless it had a chip in it. We were in a semi and using our corporate card. They advised us that we could go across the freeway and use an ATM but our pizza would probably be cold by then. We had no knowledge of the chipped card policy. We also didn't see any signs at the restaurant or online. This place is a dumpy dive and we will never eat here. We will tell everyone over the road to never stop there.
MoreCutest little diner and well preserved piece of history! Lovely pond area too! And the pie is to die for
MoreAs always, good comfort food! Love the atmosphere there! So much to see & look at! If you use the ladies restroom, beware of the man in there! He gave me a scare! Lol.. So funny I took a picture! It's a great family friendly place... One of our favorite stops..
MoreAwesome place, such cool stuff too see and delicious pie!
A cool fun place to stop! Friendly staff, clean, fresh hot food, has that happy days feel.a gem of a find in the middle of nowhere. Has a fun little park in the back for children with ducks, turtles and water.find us on YouTube to follow our travels nomadic drifter/YouTube
MoreThe people who worked there were very helpful and great customer service & the food was delicious and served hot.
MoreA must stop on the way to or from Las Vegas. The food is always good and fresh. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The decor and theme is so awesome! Go check it out!
MoreGreat diner food, charming ambiance. My husband loved his milkshake. There is an attached gift shop with really cute stuff, and a dinosaur garden outside with duck ponds. We've stopped there twice now, and love it for a break on road trips.
MoreHad the the Blob plater. Great taste. Hated to have to eat outside and to go.
Great food and friends staff. Lots of parking and easy to get back on the road after a lovely meal.
MoreAll American Diner where you can find delicious fun food. It has many rooms dedicated to musicians and actors. Well priced and friendly staff. I'm definitely stopping there again.
MoreMy experience here was super fun and memorable. The waitress was dope, Peggy herself was there and as pleasant as possible, and Peggy's grandson's (I believe) band did a recital that was righteous! I will never not stop here to eat when I am in town!
MoreLoved the whole Theme & vibe of the restaurant I was so excited to eat there we sat at a table because it was eat yourself however the waitress was pretty rude also I just wanted to take a look at the kids menu just for the whole effect of the theme..The waitress Rudely goes no you cannot. With no other exclamation am puzzled I asked I cannot look at the kids menu and she said no your kid needs to be present an address for in age for you to even have the kids menue . I couldn’t even order it to go and I don’t mind she was just really rude about it I’ll put it down for on my whole experience so I would not come here again I always usually leave a $20 tip this time I just probably left a message for her as resembles . of her attitude towards me
MorePeggy Sue's is not a 50s-styled diner; it's just a diner that hasn't changed since the 50s. Jokes aside, the diner is one of the 50s. The waitresses talk in a very old-fashioned manor and use pet names a lot (something feels nice about being called honey or sweetie). When it comes to dining, you choose your seats (you are seated during the time I've reviewed this until end of quarantine). The food served is various American foods, so things like sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, steaks, and so forth. The cook time is usually very fast, personally waiting around 5 min. for food (10-20 until end of quarantine).Overall, this is a must-pick. Definitely have to go around checking this once. Oh, and it has a gift shop with Thrifty's Ice Cream, so that's a bonus.
MoreExcellent food and service! They are practicing all precautions for social distancing and wearing gloves and masks. The chicken fried steak is homemade and served all day! Banana split pie!
MoreNice service and good ole food. Nothing crazy. Order the shakes though, they're fantastic.
MoreSuch and amazing 50's style dinner with a dinosaur park in back and a nice trinket shop. I love to just hang out and feed the ducks with my son here. The turtles are always fun to watch too. If you are not from the high desert area, I would highly recommend stopping here when you drive threw.
MoreOh my yummy goodness! I had THE best ever Patty Melt. Sandwiches and burgers come with 2 sides.Hubby had coconut cream pie. Homemade right in the diner. He said it was delicious! Our daughter chose the banana split. She loved it. Employees are adorably cute, helpful, kind. Diner was awesome! I started out by reading in front of the menu. It described how the diner became what it is today. So many photos signed by famous people. Very kitchy. If I was in the area again I'll make sure to stop again.
MoreFun stop off of the highway that lives up to the hype! This Diner houses 2 restaurants (pizza & original diner), a Five and Dime store and a kid friendly dino-themed park outside on the north side of the building. Food: Fresh ingredients on the bacon cheeseburger and it came with two sides for $11. Atmosphere is lively and great for all ages! 50’s music plays throughout the property. RV FRIENDLY! There’s a huge lot that covers 3/4 of the lot and it’s massive. Any sized rig can make it into this lot and hundreds would fit.
MoreAn amazing diner decorated in the style of a 50;s diner. We were attracted to the diner by their signboards they place along the freeway. Initially we didn't had plans to visit, however we are not disappointed. The food is huge portions and authentic american. We visited in 2008 and hope they can continue to stay in business. Will love to visit again.
MoreI always stop by this little store on the way to Las Vegas. I enjoy walking towards the Dinosaur Walking Park as well. Cheesy but fun.
MoreFun place. Great little shop inside. Diner food.
Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Nice gift shop too! All sorts of little nick nacks
MoreNice place for a quick food stop. Portions vs huge!!! Maybe order one thing and share. You can always order more if it was not enough food for you. A lot of interesting decorations on the walls and around the diner.
MoreI rather eat here then penny’s any day. It still has that classic diner feel n theme. There all friendly there and good service. Food quality is a lot better then your new diners. It takes a little while but that’s to be expected for how busy they are and there location in Yermo. No matter the wait the food and customer service is always good and they do what they can to keep you happy. Regular stop for us truckers.
MoreWell, made a spontaneous road trip from Oakland to Vegas and on the way home, the Peggy Sue road signs were sure effective! Got me to pull over.....however, I had that sinking feeling it wouldn't be open due to covid....(and I was right) - BUT!!!! They were selling pizza to go, and IT IS THE BOMB....! So much so that I'm considering another trip to Vegas just to make a stop here. STOP and get the pizza!
MoreIt was great to be able to stop in this afternoon for a early dinner after turn around one day road trip to Santa Monica..and back to Las Vegas. A lot of windshield time with a stop here and continue on. Service was great.
Morethe people were very nice/pleasant. malt was alittle small side.food was delicious and filling
MoreLove going there every since I moved up there when I was 13 now I take my 2 younger kids there and they love it just went there today and ate and showed the kids we had a blast
MoreI celebrated my graduation this evening in this great place. Well it was a incredible evening and the venue was surely the reason for the strong event. The stuff contributed in a splendid style, the food was yummy and my guests were so glad. We shall surely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
MoreFirst time here and I really liked it! Great 50's vibe from the waitress uniforms to the decor. Excellent service- fast and friendly- on an incredibly busy Sunday morning! They also have a large gift shop with an ice cream counter so you can walk in there after your meal, do a little gift shopping, then buy some ice cream for dessert - perfect!!!🍨Parking lot is HUGE, so no worries about finding a spot. Side note...they have a giant cheeseburger made of crystals on the ice cream counter in the gift shop - a novelty item for sure, but just cool to look ar and admire🤗 Unique to be sure, if a bit quirky!!!
MoreNice waiter funny good food nice gift shop I loved the ice cream shake the banana cream pie yummy nice cashier in the back nice little water fall ducks and turtles
MoreAlways delicious food, just now you have to sit outside due to Vivid rules.
We love this place. We stop and eat here every single time we are in the area.
Pizza! Pizza! Love their Pizza. On your way back from Vegas don't forget to stop by Peggy. Offering outside dining and quite a little
MoreWe love this little gem of nostalgia. We stopped by during a long car trip. We knew they would be closed due to Covid-19 but we stopped to take photos anyway.
MoreThis place is my favored. I eat in many restaurants but to this place I go the most. The stuff is very cordial and the cuisine they offer is so delicious. I never decline to have a good dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
MoreFinest place to have food when in a hurry. Their customer service is rapid, prices are convenient, awesome mood. Will come back again
MoreThis was an amazing experience. I have been on the road with my best friends Stephany and Chasity for the past 24 hours coming from Kansas City. Not only did we received fantastic service from Danielle, but the food was phenomenal. Not to mention the live singing which was absolutely mind blowing. Will be coming back in the future for sure
MoreWhat a wonderful surprise while taking a long road trip! Peggy Sue's is part fabulous traditional 50's diner, part Hollywood history museum, part wonderful treausre trove of kitsch to browse and shop. You could spend a couple hours just taking in everything there is to see. The menu is filled with comfort food delights and the real soda fountain drinks are such a treat! (Diet vanilla coke is my absolute favorite.) Don't miss the hidden highway gem when you are coming through!
MoreVery good!Food was deliciousHowever the green beans were waxy and old.But the staff and atmosphere were awesome!Cool gift shop
MoreFast service the food was good and the waitress was nice highly recommended 50s dinner great nostalgia location
MoreGreat place to make a pitstop!!! I always stop when i'm traveling to/from Las Vegas. Great food, reasonably priced. Always find something NEW in the gift shop!
MoreWorth a stop. As trucker I don't get to many restaurants outside if truck stops. It definitely is a 50's diner with alot of retro decorations and a nice expansive gift shop. The food wasn't anything to scream about but the service was top notch. Will add this to the list of spots to stop for a meal and stop for the night.
